Since 2000, Trustee Grass has served as a Girl Scout Troop Leader, and currently serves on the Northeast Texas Cookie Advisory Council for the group.  Other committees on which Trustee Grass has served include, Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas Facilities Planning in 2004 as well as the group's Service Unit Manager from 2000 to 2005, Lake Ridge Elementary PTA Board 2004-2007, CHISD Code of Conduct Committee in 2003 and the CHISD Standardized Dress Committee for 2003-2004.  Trustee Grass is married to Rodney, a system engineer for and educational software company and they have three children attending CHISD schools, Joe Wilson Intermediate, Permenter Middle School, and Cedar Hill High School.
